Place Bet Session — Walking Through the Low Roller Progression Live

Here is what a real low roller place bet session looks like from buy-in to final chip count using the single-number progression on the 5 or 9.

Session Start

Buy in for $100 at a $10 table. Wait for a point to establish. Shooter 1: place $15 on the 9. Shooter rolls a few numbers. The 9 hits — collect $21, pull the bet down. $21 goes in the rack. Shooter eventually 7s out. You are unaffected — the bet was already pulled.

Building the House Money Stack

Shooter 2: $15 on the 9. Hits again — collect $21, pull down. Rack now has $42 in winnings. Level 3: $35 on the 5 or 9. Shooter 3: place $35 on the 9. Shooter makes a few numbers. The 9 hits — $49 collected, pull down. Rack: $91 in winnings.

The Higher Levels

Shooter 4: $50 on the 5. Hits — $70 collected, pull down. Rack: $161. Shooter 5: $75 on the 9. This is the target level. Shooter makes three numbers before the 9 hits — $105 collected, pull down. At this point you have over $266 in winnings from a $100 buy-in with the original $100 still in the rack. The session is done — log off, rack the chips.

What Happened on the Miss

In this example every shooter hit before the 7. Real sessions do not run this clean. Usually one or two shooters miss entirely, you absorb the loss from the house money stack, and either hold the level or step back one. Bluffin With Aces documents the messy version on YouTube — the sessions where two straight shooters miss and you have to rebuild from level 2.
